We have opportunity to prepare for quarter-finals: Abasi

Ahmed Abbasi, sports director of Lekhwiya football-team, congratulated the club's board and HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al Thani, the team's qualification to the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League.

Abbasi stressed that Lekhwiya with a great ambition, competitiveness and now the focus will be on the quarter-finals, the team has opportunity to prepare well, where Lekhwiya plays on Aug. 21.

"We have to prepare well for this stage, especially since all the clubs that have qualified strong and we have to focus on continue to victories in the AFC Champions League. We wait for the draw and then we will know that we're team," says Abbasi
