Lekhwiya football-team retained the Qatar Stars League title for the second time in the history of the club, after a 1-1 draw with Al Arabi Club, this evening at Grand Hamad Stadium, round 20 of the competition.  

Ali Afeef, opened for Lekhwiya in a third minute of the match, while Abdul-Aziz Hatim, scored the equalizing goal for Al Arabi in 82 minutes.  

A draw awarded to Lekhwiya the title for the second time two rounds before the end of the Qatar Stars League with 42 points, 7 points from the closest competitor.
