Lekhwiya football-team announced the official list, which will lead the team in the AFC Champions League for the first time in the history of reigning Qatar Stars League last season.  

The list included: "Louise Martin, Lecomit Claude Amine, Dame Traore, Karim Boudiaf, Baba Malik, Mohammed Razak, Hussein Ali Shihab, Lassina Diaby, Adel Lamy, Mohammed Moussa, Waleed Jassim, Ismail Mohammed, Ali Saeed Nomani, Ahmed Yasser Mohammadi, Adel Habib, Ahmed Ali Hatami, Yasser Hatem, Moussa Saleh, Ali Hassan Yahya,  Khalid  Farid, Khalid Muftah, Moussa Al Allaq , Talal Saeed Al-Qahtani, Mohammed Mudathser, Abdullah Aziz, Nam Tae Hee, Moumouni Dagano, Madjid Bougherra, Bakari Kone".

To debut Lekhwiya will face Saudi Arabian Al Ahli on the seventh of March within the third group, that includes each of Sebhan Iranian, and Al Nassr UAE.
