This evening, the Lekhwiya first football team turned around the game against Al-Khor and won it 4/2. Our opponents, on the counter attack, started scoring early in the match in the 16th minute, but Ismail Mohamed was able to score the equalizer in the 35th minute from a ball in the penalty area.

In the second halftime, Al-Khor’s player Hilal Mohamed took advantage of a defensive mistake on the part of our players and scored the second goal for his team. As late in the game, Al-khor’s defender Mohamed Jumaa tried to deflect a shot from our player Nam Tae Hee to unintentionally put it in his own net and score the equalizer for Lekhwiya in the 75th minute. Then, in the 80th minute, Vladimir Weiss took it upon himself to score the third goal by his sheer wilful effort. Lastly, Khalid Muftah’s fourth goal concluded the scoring carnival in the 93rd minute, thus our team’s total points has increased to 36 in the first position of the League.
