The press conference about the away match of the round of 16 of the AFC champions League in which Lekhwiya will host Persepolis Iranian team , was held today at 5pm in the press conference hall in Al Sadd club .
The team's coach Djamel Belmadi said in the press conference : " This is the second match between both teams and sure is a decisive match that will make the winner qualify to the quarter-finals of the championship , and the Iranian team is excellent tactically and owns great players , and the match will not be easy " .
Belmadi continued by : " The Iranian team have weakness and strength points and we studied all these points and prepared our players for this confrontation to achieve the desired result " .
He added : " In the first match we wasted many opportunities and returning from Iran with the draw gave the team's players a big morale support that makes them achieve victory and qualify to the second round of the competition " .
Lekhwiya coach continued by : " The penalty that the Iranian team wasted by its striker Mahdy that put him in a big dispute with his coach " .
