Lekhwiya management club is keen on community participation in all issues, Ahmed Abbasi  official Sports Club Accompanied by two players from Lekhwiya first football-team Madjid Bougherra and Karim Boudiaf to the cultural district (Katara) to support the fight against diabetes, which was launched by Qatar Diabetes Association in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation(HMC) and the Supreme Council health and Weill Cornell, and the actors which took place in the cultural district (Katara) under the auspices of company Maersk Qatar, Novo Nordisk medical

Algerian player Bougherra revealed great pleasure to be in this campaign and that in solidarity with them to overcome this disease and who is suffering from some members of his family, pointing to the importance of ongoing awareness to avoid the disease and its prevention from start healthy habits in how to cure.

On the other hand Karim Boudiaf pointed to the importance of increasing campaigns that provide tips for the year to raise awareness of diabetes, stressing the keenness of all the sports stars on the continued support to such campaigns.
