Lekhwiya left-back Khaled Muftah returned to first-team training after a long absence due to Olympic team duty.
Khaled, who featured in most of Lekhwiya's games last season, has not played in the competition this time. He participated in Qatar's 2012 London Olympics qualifier against Saudi Arabia and also represented the country at the inaugural GCC Games in Bahrain.
Khaled's return will further strengthen Lekhwiya. He is one of the most promising players in Qatar football and won the Qatar Football Association's best player award for Under-21 category last season.
