Lekhwiya Hand Ball Team

The idea of ​​forming a Lekhwiya hand team began in the beginning of April of 2012, when the Hand Union expressed its desire to increase the number of teams participating in the tournament to enrich the tournaments and from which came the invitation to the Lekhwiya Sports Club to participate and the issue was raised to His Excellency the president of the club, who very welcomed the invitation and directed him to form a team.

 The formation of the administrative staff began, which all its members have experience in the field of sports and handball in particular, and after that the administrative staff was chosen and the able coach Ibrahim Al-Gabas was chosen as the first official coach for the hand team of Lekhwia club

A working group of administrators, coach and technicians was formed to select the team's needs from local and professional players.

 A number of local players who are still with the national team were selected and contracted, and each player was chosen very carefully.And it was the same work on the professionals, as there is currently with the Lekhwiya club from which hand professionals have their weight in this global game.

Our goal is to be like the start of the football team, walking in the footsteps of the adults. We will compete in all tournaments.
